In the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday, Australia’s captain, Pat Cummins, led his team to victory over Pakistan by 79 runs, securing a triumph in the three-match series. Cummins showcased exceptional performance by taking a five-wicket haul in both innings, finishing with impressive figures of 10/97 as Australia dismantled Pakistan’s batting lineup. Despite a target of 317, Pakistan could only manage a total of 237 in the second innings, with Mitchell Starc also contributing with a four-wicket haul. Captain Shan Masood provided a brisk 60, and Salman Ali Agha added 50 for Pakistan.
