Aus vs Pak 3rd Test Highlights Day 1

At the conclusion of Day 1 in the ongoing third Test against Pakistan, Australia finished at 6/0, trailing by 307 runs. Presently, David Warner (6*) and Usman Khawaja (0*) stand unbeaten at the crease. Earlier in the day, impressive performances from Mohammad Rizwan and Aamer Jamal propelled Pakistan to a total of 313 against Australia.

Australian Pace Army created havoc once again

Australia’s new-ball bowlers, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, made early breakthroughs in their first overs, dismissing both Pakistan openers without scoring. Captain Pat Cummins later removed Babar Azam and Shadab Khan, putting Pakistan in a precarious position in the third and final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Mohammad Rizwan (88) once again proved his importance along with Aamer Jamal (82)

Mohammad Rizwan and captain Shan Masood joined forces to stabilize the innings, ensuring no additional setbacks by the end of the initial session. In the second session, Pakistan suffered the loss of Captain Masood to Mitchell Marsh, but Rizwan persisted, achieving a well-earned half-century. His innings was halted 12 runs shy of a century when Cummins made the breakthrough. The Australian captain secured a couple more wickets, completing another five-wicket haul. Just when the match seemed to be leaning heavily in one direction, Aamer Jamal delivered an impressive performance, smashing 82 runs to propel Pakistan beyond the 300-run mark.
